Flyers captured Division I Playoff title. They swept the championship series versus Cutie Ovals Ojays. The decisive third victory came on the road on Saturday. Torey Fassett (198-F) came up with 21 points and 8 rebounds to lead the champions.
Flyers posted a 42:35 halftime lead. Ovals narrowed the gap in the third period. They pulled within 4 points at the final intermission. But Flyers sank 23 points in the fourth frame and rolled to the decisive win at the end. Russell Daly delivered 19 points for Flyers. Mario Davis (198-F/G-80, college: Missouri Western) answered with 19 points and 15 rebounds for Cutie Ovals Ojays.
