Dawkins drops 22 as DA Project dethrone Flyers to claim ABBA crown-May 29, 2026
DA Project are champions of the Antigua and Barbuda Basketball Association, closing out the EZ Fit Flyers 82-73 in Game 4 of the finals on Thursday night to clinch the title in front of a buzzing crowd.
Terry Dawkins (193-F-2000, college: AMC) led the way with 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting, seven rebounds, and three steals, providing the scoring punch that carried DA Project across the line. T-Shawn Lewis (193-F/G-2002) was equally vital in a full 40-minute shift, finishing with 17 points (a perfect 3-of-3 from the line), five rebounds, and seven boards combined on both ends. Cornell Greenwood (188-G, college: BENUM) added 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds while playing all 40 minutes, and Delonte Phillip (G) chipped in 13 points with seven rebounds and three steals.
Point guard Malik Moore (183-PG, college: Westchester, agency: VSG) orchestrated the offense with a game-high six assists, 10 rebounds, and eight points across 37 minutes. DA Project's balance and relentless work on the glass 11 steals to the Flyers' six proved decisive in a game where they shot just 40 percent from the field but got to the free-throw line 27 times, converting 18.
For EZ Fit Flyers, Kevin Cox (190-G-1993, college: UDC) top-scored with 19 points (3-of-9 from three) and nine rebounds, while Nick Moore (198-PF-1991, college: Alliance) posted 15 points, four assists, and nine rebounds. Daniel Perez added 12 and Kwame Brathwaite (G) had 10. Adonis Humphreys (198-F-1994, college: SW Illinois JC) the standout forward was held to just two points but grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds with two blocks and two assists. The Flyers' 27.8 percent three-point shooting (5-of-18) and 18 turnovers undercut their effort.
DA Project's superior depth and ball pressure ultimately ended the Flyers' title defense.
