Guyana and St Kitts recorded their second win in as many matches in the Annual CPTSA Gillian Brazier Womens Basketball Shootout at JSC Sports Complex on Thursday night.
The Guyanese romped to an impressive 75-44 victory over Antigua & Barbudas Combined Schools. Natasha Aulder sank 14 points, while Tamara Hunter and Nicola Jacobs chipped in with 12 points each for the victors.
Tyea Ladoo shot a game-high 21 points and Jess St John converted 14 points for Combined Schools.
Guyana made a winning start to their campaign by snatching a 52-48 victory over Wings on Wednesday night.
Aulder sank 16 points and Jacobs scored 13 for the Guyanese, while Amanda Edwards converted 13 points and Kenesia Cabral chipped in with 12 points for Wings.
St Kitts had to dig deep to stave off a tough challenge from Wings, prevailing 54-47 in the keenly contested affair on Thursday night.
The Kittitians were led by Alicia Wigley with 14 points and Carol Warner with 11 points.
For Wings, Robertine Fredericks had 14 points, Kishorna Aubrey produced 11 points, and Edwards contributed 10 points.
St Kitts trounced Combined Schools 74-40 in the opening game of the tournament on Wednesday.
Dianne Palmer shot 21 points, Pamella Huggins produced 20 points and Jamilla Morton had 12 points for the Kittitians.
Ladoo shot a game high 22 points for Combined Schools.
