ABBA Round 8: Winless Global Hawks lose another game - Feb 9, 2018

Bottom-ranked Global Hawks (0-5) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to third ranked Baldwin Braves (3-1) 78-43 on Thursday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Baldwin Braves. Global Hawks managed to win fourth quarter 16-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Baldwin Braves have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Flyers. Newly promoted Global Hawks still closes the standings with five games lost. Baldwin Braves' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena .
The game in was also worth to mention about. Top-ranked Stingerz (3-0) played at the court of 7th ranked Yorks Crushers (1-2). Stingerz defeated Yorks Crushers 72-62. Stingerz have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Yorks Crushers at the other side keep the seventh place with two games lost. They share the position with Freetown T. and Ottos. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
