The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Cutie Ovals Ojays (3-1) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Flyers (4-1) 95-80. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cutie Ovals Ojays. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Flyers forced 26 Cutie Ovals Ojays turnovers. Canadian center Torey Fassett (198) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and Sharife Sargeant chipped in 12 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Joshua Minner (198-90, college: MidAmerica Ch.) responded with 28 points and 4 steals. Flyers have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion moved-up to second place. Cutie Ovals Ojays at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. Flyers are looking forward to face Stingerz (#5) in the next round. Potters S. has registered their first victory this season after two consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in , where they outplayed Freetown T. (1-3) 89-57. The former international guard Kareem Edwards (193-90) nailed 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and Darius Daniels accounted for 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Potters S.'s coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Marlon Davis (-77) came up with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for Freetown T. in the defeat. Potters S. (1-2) left bottom position moving up to sixth place. It was Freetown T.'s third loss in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Yorks Crushers. Potters S. will play against bottom-ranked Rebels (#10) in the next round. Freetown T. will play against Stingerz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

The best player for the winners was Brian Holmes who scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Ishaan Peets produced 29 points and 8 rebounds for the guests. Undefeated Baldwin Braves have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. HS Outlaws lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. Baldwin Braves will meet Ottos (#4) in the next round. HS Outlaws will play against Cutie Ovals Ojays (#3) and hope to win that game.
