Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Undefeated Baldwin Braves (5-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fifth ranked Ottos on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Ottos 68-67. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Baldwin Braves. Ottos forced 19 Baldwin Braves turnovers and outrebounded them 59-39 including a 42-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Baldwin Braves' players. The best player for the winners was the former international center Mahijah Davis (195-77, college: Cent.Oklahoma) who had a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists. Guard Xavier Meade chipped in 24 points and 9 rebounds. Ottos' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ronald Lucas-III (198-93) who recorded 19 points and 9 rebounds. Ottos maintains fifth position with 4-2 record. Baldwin Braves at the other side still keep top place with one game lost. They share the position with Flyers. Ottos are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Rebels (#10) in the next round where they are favorite. Baldwin Braves will play against Freetown T. (#8) and are hoping to win this game.
Bottom-ranked Potters S. managed to get the fourth consecutive victory. This time they outleveled ninth-ranked Rebels 114-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 52-point difference suggests that Potters S. is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. It was a good game for the former international guard Kareem Edwards (193-90) who led his team to a victory with 34 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Kebo Orford contributed with 17 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Dontarion Wright (190, college: LeMoyne-Owen) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds for Rebels. Rebels' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Potters S. have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Rebels lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Potters S. will play against league's second-placed Flyers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Rebels will play against Ottos (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.
The game in supposed to be also quite interesting. 6th ranked Freetown T. (1-4) played at the court of seventh ranked Yorks Crushers (2-3). Yorks Crushers smashed Freetown T. 90-67 on Saturday. Decosta Walbrook had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. Yorks Crushers' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Tommy Joseph with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Yorks Crushers maintains seventh position with 2-3 record. Freetown T. lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Yorks Crushers will meet higher ranked Cutie Ovals Ojays (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Freetown T. will play against the league's leader Baldwin Braves (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.

In the last two games of round 6 Cutie Ovals Ojays crushed HS Outlaws in a road game 99-53. Flyers beat Stingerz at home 85-73.
The best stats of 6th round was 30 points and 9 rebounds by Torey Fassett of Flyers.



HS Outlaws - Cutie Ovals Ojays 53-99

There was no surprise when 9th ranked HS Outlaws (1-5) were crushed at home by third ranked Cutie Ovals Ojays (4-1) 99-53 on Thursday. Cutie Ovals Ojays dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to HS Outlaws' 40. Cutie Ovals Ojays forced 21 HS Outlaws turnovers and outrebounded them 66-50 including a 45-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cutie Ovals Ojays looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Joshua Minner (198-90, college: MidAmerica Ch.) had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Bryan Matthew (196-76, college: Iona) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Cutie Ovals Ojays players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ishaan Peets with 25 points and guard Michael Xavier scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. Despite that victory Cutie Ovals Ojays went down to fourth position due to points difference. HS Outlaws lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with five games lost. Cutie Ovals Ojays will meet at home Yorks Crushers (#7) in the next round. HS Outlaws will play against Yorks Crushers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Flyers (5-1) defeated at home 6th ranked Stingerz (2-2) 85-73 on Sunday. Flyers forced 20 Stingerz turnovers. Canadian center Torey Fassett (198) scored 30 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Selassie Brathwaite chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Keroi Lee with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and Moriba Defreitas produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 18 rebounds. Flyers have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion used an opportunity after Baldwin Braves lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Stingerz keeps the sixth place with two games lost. Flyers will meet at home Potters S. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Stingerz will have a break next round.

Bottom-ranked Potters S. managed to get the fourth consecutive victory. This time they outleveled ninth-ranked Rebels 114-62. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 52-point difference suggests that Potters S. is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. Potters S. shot 22 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Rebels only scored six points from the stripe. Potters S. forced 31 Rebels turnovers and had a 40-25 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists.
