32-year old point guard Jermaine Bolden (178-PG-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Cutie Ovals Ojays and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 7.
He had the game-high 31 points adding three rebounds and six assists for Cutie Ovals Ojays in his team's victory, helping them to crush Baldwin Braves (#3, 5-1) with 23-point margin 95-72. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Cutie Ovals Ojays is placed at 2nd position in Antiguan league. They are still close to the very top. Cutie Ovals Ojays would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Bolden had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It was one of impressive evenings for him as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Morgan State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bolden is league's best passer with 7.9apg. Bolden is in league's top in and averages solid 4.6spg,51.6% FGP and 40.6% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Decosta Walbrook (G) of Yorks Crushers. He is former international guard in his second season at Yorks Crushers. In the last game Walbrook recorded impressive double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Yorks Crushers to another comfortable win 87-74 over slightly lower-ranked HS Outlaws (#9, 1-6) being unquestionably team leader. Despite this victory Yorks Crushers slide down in the standings to 7th position. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-5 record. Walbrook is well-known at Yorks Crushers and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders.

Third place about best performers goes to another Yorks Crushers' star - guard Cohen Desouza (G). Desouza showcased his all-around game by recording 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in the last round. He was another key player of Yorks Crushers, helping his team with a 87-74 easy win against slightly lower-ranked HS Outlaws (#9, 1-6). The chances of Yorks Crushers not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 5 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Desouza could try to bring Yorks Crushers' a little bit higher in the standings. Desouza has individually a great season in Antigua. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.6ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 11.6rpg (4th best). He also has 2.4spg and FGP: 51.4%.
