Brian Holmes
John Rolland had a great game in the last round for Freetown T. and that's him to receive a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 9.
The had a double-double of 24 points and twenty rebounds, while his team crushed Rebels (#10, 1-9) with 21-point margin 91-70. Freetown T. is placed at 8th position in Antiguan ABBA. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 5 games and had just two victories. It was one of impressive evenings for Rolland as usually he does not deliver so high stats. John Rolland averages this season 8.0ppg and 5.6rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Sharife Sargeant of Flyers. Sargeant impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Flyers to another comfortable win 86-71 over the lower-ranked HS Outlaws (#9, 2-8) being unquestionably team leader. Flyers' 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 7-2 record is not bad at all. Sargeant is a newcomer at Flyers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was American Brian Holmes (185-G-91) of Baldwin Braves (#4). Holmes showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the last round. Despite Holmes' great performance Baldwin Braves lost 87-98 to #2 ranked Potters S.. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Baldwin Braves needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 3 lost games. Holmes has a very solid season. In 7 games in Antigua he scored 21.1ppg. He also has 5.4rpg, 5.1apg and 2.6spg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Cohen Desouza (G) of Yorks Crushers - 24 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Benny Iko (201-F) of Potters S. - 15 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Kareem Edwards (193-G-90) of Potters S. - 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Torey Fassett (198-C) of Flyers - 24 points, 13 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Iornie Joseph (G) of Freetown T. - 13 points, 20 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Gary Narrison) of Freetown T. - 18 points and 16 rebounds
10. Roger Hood (196-F-96) of Baldwin Braves - 22 points and 5 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
