Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

An interesting game for Cutie Ovals Ojays (9-1) which played road game in against 3rd ranked Flyers (8-3). First ranked Cutie Ovals Ojays managed to get a 6-point victory 89-83. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Flyers. Cutie Ovals Ojays forced 23 Flyers turnovers and outrebounded them 60-47 including 25 on the offensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Flyers helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Joshua Minner (198-90, college: MidAmerica Ch.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Center NKenge Drew contributed with 16 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Canadian center Torey Fassett (198) replied with 32 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for Flyers. Cutie Ovals Ojays have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Potters S. Defending champion Flyers keep the third place with three games lost. Cutie Ovals Ojays will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Flyers will play against Yorks Crushers and are hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
Another interesting game for Yorks Crushers (5-6) which played on the court of 4th ranked Baldwin Braves (6-4). Seventh ranked Yorks Crushers crushed hosts 87-63. Guard Cohen Desouza had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Decosta Walbrook chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Yorks Crushers' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Roger Hood (196-96, college: Kalamazoo) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Yorks Crushers maintains seventh position with 5-6 record. Baldwin Braves lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with four games lost. Yorks Crushers will play against HS Outlaws (#9) in the next round. Baldwin Braves will play against Rebels (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.

Other games in round 10 were not that significant. Baldwin Braves smashed HS Outlaws on the road 92-72. HS Outlaws lost to Stingerz on its own court 75-90. Freetown T. unfortunately lost to Potters S. in a road game 68-84. Flyers managed to beat Rebels at home 85-76.



Baldwin Braves - Yorks Crushers 63-87

Another interesting game for Yorks Crushers (5-6) which played on the court of 4th ranked Baldwin Braves (6-4). Seventh ranked Yorks Crushers crushed hosts 87-63. Yorks Crushers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Baldwin Braves' 26. Guard Cohen Desouza had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Decosta Walbrook chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Yorks Crushers' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by HS Outlaws' players. American forward Roger Hood (196-96, college: Kalamazoo) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Devorn Benjamin (182-95) chipped in 33 points (!!!) during the contest. Hood is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side guard Andrew Venture responded with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and Ishaan Peets scored 27 points and 7 rebounds.
