There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in ABBA. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Flyers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Flyers smashed 7th ranked Yorks Crushers at home 78-49. Flyers dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Yorks Crushers' 38. Flyers forced 29 Yorks Crushers turnovers. It was a great evening for Kwame Brathwaite who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 rebounds and 5 blocks. Canadian center Torey Fassett (198) helped adding 15 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Cohen Desouza responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Yorks Crushers at the other side keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Fifth ranked Stingerz (6-3) crushed at home 8th ranked Freetown T. (2-7) by 30 points 92-62, which is the biggest margin this round. It was a quality performance for guard Keroi Lee who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Vivian Destin accounted for 29 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Humroy Wright came up with 23 points for Freetown T. in the defeat. Stingerz have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fifth place with 6-3 record. Freetown T. at the other side keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Stingerz will play against higher ranked Potters S. (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Freetown T. will play against the league's second-placed Cutie Ovals Ojays (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

In the last two games of round 11 Flyers destroyed HS Outlaws on the opponent's court 90-69. Bottom-ranked Rebels unfortunately lost to Baldwin Braves in a home game 87-97.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 29 points by Brian Holmes of Baldwin Braves.



HS Outlaws - Flyers 69-90

Very expected game when 9th ranked HS Outlaws (2-11) were crushed at home by third ranked Flyers (10-3) 90-69. Flyers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to HS Outlaws' 40. Flyers forced 20 HS Outlaws turnovers and outrebounded them 56-26 including a 40-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian center Torey Fassett (198) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. Kwame Brathwaite accounted for 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winning side. Four Flyers players scored in double figures. Ishaan Peets came up with 27 points and guard Andrew Venture added 8 points and 14 assists respectively for HS Outlaws in the defeat. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. HS Outlaws lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 11 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Rebels - Baldwin Braves 87-97

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Baldwin Braves (7-4) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Rebels (1-11) 97-87. Baldwin Braves dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Rebels' 34. Baldwin Braves forced 23 Rebels turnovers and had a 40-27 advantage in offensive rebounds. Rebels were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Ronald Lucas-III (198-93) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Brian Holmes (185-91, college: Georgia South) accounted for 29 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Lucas III is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Baldwin Braves players scored in double figures. American guard Dontarion Wright (190, college: LeMoyne-Owen) came up with 27 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ariel Quallis added 15 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Rebels in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baldwin Braves moved-up to fourth place. Rebels lost tenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 11 games lost. Baldwin Braves will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rebels will play against Ottos (#6) to get more than just one victory in their record.
