The game between Top Four teams took place in . First ranked host Cutie Ovals Ojays (15-1) defeated 4th placed Stingerz (12-3) 72-60. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Stingerz. Cutie Ovals Ojays dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Stingerz's 28. Cutie Ovals Ojays forced 23 Stingerz turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Cutie Ovals Ojays made 9 blocks. The former international guard Marlon Charles (186-76) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners and American guard Joshua Minner (198-90, college: MidAmerica Ch.) chipped in 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Keroi Lee responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 19 rebounds. Cutie Ovals Ojays have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 15-1 record. Stingerz at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
The game in supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Flyers (13-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Baldwin Braves (8-8). Flyers smashed Baldwin Braves 108-56. Selassie Brathwaite nailed 25 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Torey Fassett accounted for 21 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Brian Holmes (185-91, college: Georgia South) came up with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for Baldwin Braves in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Potters S. Baldwin Braves at the other side keep the sixth position with eight games lost.

In the last two games of round 17 HS Outlaws won against Yorks Crushers on the opponent's court 90-74. Bottom-ranked Rebels were outscored by Stingerz in a home game 70-95.




Yorks Crushers - HS Outlaws 74-90

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 7th ranked Yorks Crushers (8-11) were defeated at home by eighth ranked HS Outlaws (4-14) 90-74. HS Outlaws forced 27 Yorks Crushers turnovers. Guard Andrew Venture nailed 25 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and Ishaan Peets accounted for 26 points. The former international guard Decosta Walbrook came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and the former international guard Gerard Henry (203-86) added 12 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Yorks Crushers in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Yorks Crushers' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. HS Outlaws maintains eighth place with 4-14 record. Yorks Crushers at the other side keep the seventh position with 11 games lost.

Very predictable result when fourth ranked Stingerz (12-3) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Rebels (1-16) 95-70. Stingerz dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Rebels' 34. Stingerz forced 33 Rebels turnovers. The former international guard Vivian Destin (193-86) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and guard Keroi Lee accounted for 20 points and 13 rebounds. American guard Dontarion Wright (190, college: LeMoyne-Owen) came up with 38 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and guard Gija George added 10 points and 16 rebounds respectively for Rebels in the defeat. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Stingerz. They maintain fourth place with 12-3 record. Rebels lost their fifteenth game in a row. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost.
