Joshua Minner claims Antiguan ABBA Hoops Agents weekly honour

Experienced American Joshua Minner (198-G-1990) had a great game in the last round for Cutie Ovals and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 32-year old guard had the game-high 35 points adding seven rebounds and five assists for Cutie Ovals in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Slam (#6, 2-4) with 27-point margin 90-63. Cutie Ovals is placed at 3rd position in Antiguan ABBA. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Cutie Ovals will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Minner had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Cutie Ovals, through which he has constantly improved. Mid-America Christian University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Minner is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.0ppg. Minner is in league's top in and averages solid 53.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was guard Cohen Desouza (G) of second-ranked Potters S.. Desouza impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds. Of course he led Potters S. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Baldwin Braves (#7, 1-5) 104-56. This victory allowed Potters S. to move up to second position in the standings. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Desouza is one of the most experienced players at Potters S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.3ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 11.0rpg and 3.2apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Cutie Ovals' star - international guard Kareem Edwards (193-G-1990). Edwards scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Edwards' great performance Cutie Ovals lost 67-69 to #4 ranked Flyers. But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Cutie Ovals needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 5 victories and 2 lost games. Edwards has a great season in Antigua. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.7ppg (8th best). He also has 3.9spg, 1.3bpg and FGP: 50.8%.
