Iornie Joseph (G) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's leader Potters S. and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The guard had a double-double of 16 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team beat Spanish Heat (#8, 0-9), the league's bottom-ranked team 101-90. It allowed Potters S. to consolidate first place in the Antiguan ABBA. Potters S. have a solid 8-1 record. Joseph just recently signed at Potters S., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Iornie Joseph averages this season 4.2ppg and 6.7rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Jesus Reyes of Spanish Heat. Reyes impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Spanish Heat lost that game 90-101 to the higher-ranked Potters S. (#1, 8-1). Spanish Heat are still at the very bottom. 9 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Reyes is one of the most experienced players at Spanish Heat and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#5). He also registered 6.4 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Spanish Heat's star - Steven Matthew. Matthew showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, six rebounds and four assists in the last round. Despite Matthew's great performance Spanish Heat lost 72-73 to slightly higher-ranked Baldwin Braves (#7, 2-7). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Matthew has individually a great season in Antigua. After only 9 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.6ppg (2nd best) and assists with 3.8apg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Israel Pulinario) of Spanish Heat - 20 points and 16 rebounds
5. Warren Bogle) of Ottos - 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Shaquille Kelly) of Ottos - 13 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Kelvin Pimentel) of Spanish Heat - 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists
8. Marlon Charles (186-G-1976) of Potters S. - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Akeem Davis) of Ottos - 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
10. Keaddy Martin) of Slam - 15 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
