Reyes' double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Jesus Reyes put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Spanish Heat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had a double-double of 34 points and 10 rebounds, while his team edged out Slam (#6, 2-8) 80-77. Spanish Heat maintains the 8th position in Antiguan league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 9 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Reyes had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Spanish Heat, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Reyes has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (5th best: 19.0ppg).

Second best performed player last round was Jacob Lloyd (183-PG-1994) of top-ranked Potters S.. He is Welsh guard in his first season at Potters S.. In the last game Lloyd recorded impressive 18 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course he led Potters S. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Braves (#7, 2-8) 94-73. Of course Potters S. still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 9-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Lloyd is one of the most experienced players at Potters S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Keroi Lee (F) of league's second-best Stingerz. Lee scored 23 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Stingerz, leading his team to a 85-80 win against the lower-ranked Ottos (#5, 4-5). Stingerz is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 8-1 record is not that bad... Lee has a great season in Antigua. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 15.0rpg (2nd best).
