Aix-Maurienne Savoie Basket (ProB) signed 25-year-old Antiguan center Kevin Samuel (213cm-118kg-1997) for the upcoming 2023-24 season. Samuel just graduated from the University of South Alabama (NCAA). In 33 games he had 10.1ppg, 9.0rpg, and 2.6bpg last season. He helped them to make it to the Sun Belt Tournament final. 2022-23 was a great season as he was voted All-Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and named to All-Sun Belt Third Team.

Samuel started his college career at Texas Christian University (NCAA) where he played for four seasons. Then he moved to Florida Gulf Coast University (NCAA). His high school career he had spent at Redemption Christian Academy in Houston, TX.

As mentioned above he is just out of college, so it will be his first season as a professional player.
