Azille's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

Guard Darnell Azille (G) had a very impressive game in the last round for Potters Steelers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 10.
He had a double-double of 18 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Spanish Heat (#6, 0-7) with 28-point margin 82-54. Potters S. maintains the 3rd position in Antiguan league. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Potters S. will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. In the team's last game Azille had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Potters S., being already a very valuable addition to the team. Azille has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.1rpg).

Second best performed player last round was Cohen Desouza (201-F-1994). He is international forward in his 4th season at Potters S.. In the last game Desouza recorded an impressive 9 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course together with Azille he helped Potters Steelers with another comfortable win outscoring Spanish Heat (#6, 0-7) 82-54. Potters S.'s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. His team's 6-2 record is not bad at all. Desouza is one of the most experienced players at Potters S. and similarly like Darnell Azille has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 4.9apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Joshua Minner (198-G-1990) of league's second-best LJ Northside Stingerz. Minner showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Stingerz, leading his team to a 70-67 win against #4 ranked Ottos in a game of the week. Stingerz is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 7-1 record is not that bad... Minner has a great season in Antigua. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.5ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.0apg (9th best).
