International Center Adonis Humphreys (198-C-1994) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Flyers Basketball, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 29-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed Spanish Heat (#5, 2-8) with 50-point margin 95-45. Flyers maintains the 2nd position in Antiguan ABBA. Flyers has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. Humphreys turned to be Flyers' top player in his first season with the team. Former Southwestern Illinois College star has very solid stats this year. Humphreys is in league's top in points (4th best: 15.1ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.3rpg) and averages impressive 2.8bpg,3.0spg and 52.3% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Flyers' star - David Hernandez (G). Hernandez had a very good evening with 14 points and 9 rebounds. Of course together with Humphreys he helped Flyers Basketball with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Spanish Heat (#5, 2-8) 95-45. Flyers' second position in the standings has not changed. His team belongs to top of the standings with 9-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Hernandez is a newcomer at Flyers and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Flyers' star - international guard T-Shawn Lewis (193-G-2002). Lewis scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. He was another key player of Flyers Basketball, helping his team with a 95-45 easy win against the lower-ranked Spanish Heat (#5, 2-8). Many experts and fans count Flyers as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 9 victories and only one lost game. Lewis has a very solid season. In 4 games in Antigua he scored 4.0ppg.
