Danny Perez claims Antiguan ABBA Hoops Agents weekly honour

Danny Perez (G ) had an amazing evening in the last round for Spanish Heat and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 1.
The had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and seven assists for Spanish Heat in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Lava SSW (#6, 2-3) with 37-point margin 93-56. Spanish Heat was forced-out from the top positions in Antiguan ABBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Spanish Heat will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Perez had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Spanish Heat, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Perez has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 21.2ppg), assists (4th best: 5.0apg) and averages solid 5.2spg and 61.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international forward Adonis Humphreys (198-F-1994) of second-ranked Flyers Basketball. Humphreys impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 18 rebounds. Of course he led Flyers to another comfortable win outscoring Stingerz (2-3) 88-64. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Humphreys is well-known by Flyers fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.0ppg (#8). He also registered 14.3 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Darnell Azille (G) of top-ranked Potters Steelers. Azille showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, 17 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Potters S., leading his team to a 81-79 win against #3 ranked Spanish Heat in a game of the week. Potters S. started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Azille turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Azille has a great season in Antigua. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 13.3rpg (5th best).
