Desouza's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Cohen Desouza

30-year old forward Cohen Desouza (201-F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Potters Steelers and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 2.
He had a double-double of 18 points and 17 rebounds, while his team beat Stingerz (#5, 2-3) 89-76. It allowed Potters S. to consolidate first place in the Antiguan league. The season is still on an early stage, but Potters S. already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Desouza had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Potters S., through which he has constantly improved. Desouza has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (8th best: 9.5rpg), assists (3rd best: 5.5apg) and averages solid 1.5bpg,3.0spg and 63.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Steven Matthew (G) of Spanish Heat. He is a guard in his second season at Spanish Heat. Third place about best performers goes to another Spanish Heat's star - Danny Perez (G ). Perez got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round.
