Humphreys' double-double lands him Player of the Week award

30-year old forward Adonis Humphreys (198-F-1994) had a very impressive game in the last round for second-ranked Flyers Basketball and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 28 points and 19 rebounds, while his team outclassed Slam (#5, 2-4) with 42-point margin 96-54. Flyers maintains the 2nd position in Antiguan league. They are still close to the very top. Flyers would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. It's Humphreys' second year at Flyers and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Southwestern Illinois College graduate has very impressive stats this year. Humphreys is in league's top in points (9th best: 17.4ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.1rpg) and averages solid 2.1bpg and 72.2% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Keroi Lee (G ) of top-ranked Potters Steelers. He is a in his first season at Potters S.. In the last game Lee recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds. Of course he led Potters S. to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Lava SSW (#7, 2-5) 109-78. Of course Potters S. still keep the league's top spot. He plays for the best team in the league and Potters S. managed to win all 7 games keeping a perfect record. Lee is one of the most experienced players at Potters S. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Flyers' star - guard Selassie Brathwaite (G). Brathwaite showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Flyers Basketball, helping his team with a 98-59 easy win against the lower-ranked Lava SSW (#7, 2-5). Flyers is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 6-1 record is not that bad... Brathwaite has a very solid season. In 6 games in Antigua he scored 12.8ppg. He also has 8.5rpg and a FGP of 55.1%.
