Andrew's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Guard Bernard Andrew (G) had an amazing evening in the last round for Spanish Heat and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
He had a double-double of 46 points and 23 rebounds, while his team outclassed Stingerz (#7, 2-9) with 28-point margin 102-74. Spanish Heat maintains the 4th position in Antiguan league. Spanish Heat is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-6 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Andrew as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Bernard Andrew averages this season 7.8ppg and 9.8rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Alexis Jackson (216-C-2000) of top-ranked Flyers Basketball. He is international center in his first season at Flyers. In the last game Jackson recorded an impressive 26 points and 9 rebounds. Of course he led Flyers to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Ottos (#8, 1-11) 102-41. This victory allowed Flyers to move up to 1st position in the standings. His team belongs to top of the standings with 12-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Jackson is a newcomer at Flyers and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Flyers' star - forward Adonis Humphreys (198-F-1994). Humphreys showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 14 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Flyers Basketball, helping his team with a 102-41 easy win against the lower-ranked Ottos (#8, 1-11). Many experts and fans count Flyers as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 12 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Humphreys has a great season in Antigua. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 17.4ppg (9th best) and rebounds with 16.0rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.8bpg and a FGP of 69.2%.
