Antiguan ABBA round 12 best performance: Adonis Humphreys

International Forward Adonis Humphreys (198-F-1994) put on an amazing game in the last round for top-ranked Flyers Basketball, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 26 rebounds, while his team outclassed Lava SSW (#6, 3-10) with 53-point margin 108-55. It allowed Flyers to consolidate first place in the Antiguan ABBA. Flyers has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 13-1. In the team's last game Humphreys had a remarkable 71.4% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Flyers and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Former Southwestern Illinois College star has very solid stats this year. Humphreys is in league's top in points (8th best: 17.6ppg) and averages impressive 2.0bpg and 69.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was another Flyers' star - Kwame Brathwaite (G). Brathwaite had a very good evening with a double-double of 12 points and 17 rebounds. Of course together with Humphreys he helped Flyers Basketball with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Lava SSW (#6, 3-10) 108-55. Of course Flyers still keep the league's top spot. His team belongs to top of the standings with 13-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Brathwaite is one of the most experienced players at Flyers and similarly like Adonis Humphreys has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Iornie Joseph (G) of All Saints Slam (#5). Joseph scored 16 points and grabbed 18 rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Slam, leading his team to a 91-76 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Spanish Heat (#4, 6-7). The chances of Slam ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Joseph could help Slam to bring them higher in the standings. Joseph has a great season in Antigua. After only 7 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 11.7rpg (7th best).

10. Akeem Davis (G) of Ottos - 12 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
