Adonis Humphreys, the standout forward for the championship-winning Flyers Basketball team, had an exceptional season that led to numerous accolades. Graduating from Southwestern Illinois College five years ago, Humphreys showcased his skills by earning the Player of the Year award for his team. His remarkable performance also saw him receive other prestigious awards such as Finals MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and spots on both the First Team and Defensive Team. Humphreys played a pivotal role in helping his team achieve the best record of the season in the league, finishing with an impressive 12-1 record in the regular season. His contributions were instrumental in the Flyers Basketball team's victory over the Potters Steelers in the final series. Notably, Humphreys excelled in various statistical categories, ranking fifth in points per game with an average of nearly 18. He led the league in rebounds per game with almost 16, showcasing his dominance on both ends of the court. Throughout the season, he demonstrated consistency by recording double-doubles in 19 games and scoring 20 or more points in 8 games. His standout performance included a season-high 30 points against the Stingerz. On the other hand, Cohen Desouza, a forward from the Potters Steelers, and Keroi Lee, a guard from the same team, also had notable seasons, earning spots on the First Team and Defensive Team of the league. Desouza and Lee contributed significantly to their team's success, reaching the finals despite falling short against the Flyers Basketball team. Additionally, Terry Dawkins, a 24-year-old American forward from the DA-Project, showcased his talent by earning a spot on the First Team of the league. Dawkins, an alum of Albertus Magnus College, displayed his scoring prowess by averaging over 22 points per game along with 6 rebounds. He recorded impressive performances throughout the season, including scoring 30 points against the Lava Smoke Shop Warriors. Overall, these talented players, including Humphreys, Desouza, Lee, and Dawkins, exemplified excellence in their respective roles and made significant contributions to their teams' performances in the league.
