ABBA top team - Cutie Ovals (3-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Red Hawks (0-3) 98-73. Cutie Ovals forced 39 Red Hawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Tajahron Davis scored 27 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Jabiri Smith (198, college: Shorter) chipped in 25 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Cohen Desouza (201-1994) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. Cutie Ovals have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 3-0 record, which they share with Ottos. Red Hawks at the other side still closes the standings with three games lost.

DA-Project's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 9 points and 19 rebounds by guard Michael Barton did not help to save the game for Navigators. DA-Project maintains fifth position with 2-2 record. Navigators at the other side still closes the standings with four games lost.





Navigators - DA-Project 55-111

Bottom-ranked Navigators (0-4) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to fifth ranked DA-Project (2-2) 111-55. DA-Project dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Navigators' 42. DA-Project forced 33 Navigators turnovers and outrebounded them 55-39 including a 25-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Cornell Greenwood (188, college: BENUM) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Malik Moore (183, college: Westchester, agency: VSG) supported him with 23 points, 8 assists and 9 steals.
