Drammeh's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

29-year old USA-GAM center Pindo Drammeh (207-C-1996) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Ottos Full Throttle and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
He had a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds, while his team outclassed Slam (#7, 1-4) with 27-point margin 110-83. It allowed Ottos to take over top position in the Antiguan league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Ottos already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Drammeh had a remarkable 100.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Ottos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. William Jessup University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Drammeh is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 13.5rpg) and averages solid 3.0bpg and 65.8% FGP. Worth to mention Drammeh played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Danny Perez (G). He is a guard in his first season at Ottos. In the last game Perez recorded an impressive double-double of 38 points and 11 rebounds. Of course together with Drammeh he helped Flyers Basketball with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Slam (#7, 1-4) 110-83. This victory allowed Flyers to move up to 1st position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Perez is one of the most experienced players at Flyers and similarly like Pindo Drammeh has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.0ppg (#3). His other stats are also decent: 4.5rpg and 3.3apg.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Rolontae Knowles (193-G/F-2001, agency: Daggers Sports) of All Saints Slam (#7). Knowles scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Despite Knowles' great performance the Slam lost 83-110 to the league's current leader Ottos (#1, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Slam can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-4 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Knowles has individually a great season in Antigua. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 4.2apg (9th best).
