It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Cutie Ovals. It was a key game for the second position in the league. They outrebounded Cutie Ovals 59-31 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lava SSW looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Joshua Minner (198-1990, college: MACU) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Keroi Lee chipped in 20 points and 21 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Jabiri Smith (198, college: Shorter) responded with 28 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Lava SSW have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Cutie Ovals at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost. Lava SSW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Cutie Ovals will play against the league's leader Ottos and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

DA-Project maintains fifth position with 3-3 record. Defending champion Flyers dropped to the fourth place with two games lost.
