Antiguan ABBA round 8 best performance: Tajah Williams

Tajah Williams put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Flyers Basketball, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
The player was the main contributor (60 points, nine rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Navigators (#8, 0-5) with 86-point margin 128-42. Thanks to this victory Flyers moved-up to the 4th position in Antiguan ABBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost two games earlier this season. Flyers will need more victories to improve their 3-2 record. In the team's last game Williams had a remarkable 61.5% from 2-point range and got twelve three-pointers out of 21 attempts. He just recently signed at Flyers, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Tajah Williams has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (2nd best: 25.4ppg) and averages impressive 47.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was American Malik Moore (183-PG, agency: VSG) of DA-Project. Moore had a very good evening with a double-double of 31 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as DA-Project lost that game 101-110 to slightly lower-ranked Red Hawks (#6, 1-3). DA-Project managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 3-3 record is not bad and everything may still change. Moore is one of the most experienced players at DA-Project and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Flyers' star - guard Danny Perez (G). Perez showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. He was another key player of Flyers Basketball, helping his team with a 128-42 easy win against Navigators (#8, 0-5). Flyers needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Perez has a great season in Antigua. After only 5 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 11.8ppg (3rd best).
