Jayleyle Joseph claims Antiguan ABBA weekly honour

Jayleyle Joseph put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Cutie Ovals Ojays and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The had a double-double of 21 points and 20 rebounds, while his team outclassed Slam (#7, 1-6) with 47-point margin 127-80. It allowed Cutie Ovals to jump to the first place in the Antiguan ABBA. Cutie Ovals have a solid 5-1 record. In the team's last game Joseph had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Cutie Ovals, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Joseph has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 10.7rpg) and averages solid 1.2bpg and 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Nick Strawter (193-G-1997) of second-ranked Ottos Full Throttle. Strawter impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 27 points and 10 assists. Of course he led Ottos to another comfortable win outscoring Navigators (#8, 0-6) 96-57. Ottos' second position in the standings has not changed. His team lost just one game this season, while they won 5 matches. Strawter is one of the most experienced players at Ottos and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 20.5ppg (#6). His other stats are also decent: 7.7rpg and 8.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Michael Barton (G) of Navigators (#8). Barton scored 12 points and grabbed 25 rebounds (!!!). Despite Barton's great performance the Navigators lost 57-96 to the higher-ranked Ottos (#2, 5-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. Navigators can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 6 games. Barton has individually a great season in Antigua. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 18.0rpg (#1 in league).
