Jaheem James claims Antiguan ABBA Hoops Agents weekly honour

Jaheem James (G) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Lava Smoke Elite Stingerz and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The guard got a double-double of 55 points and 11 assists, while his team outclassed Slam (#7, 2-11) with 62-point margin 140-78. Stingerz is placed at 2nd position in Antiguan ABBA. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Stingerz will need more victories to improve their 10-4 record. In the team's last game James had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. He just recently signed at Stingerz, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Jaheem James averages this season 11.2ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Bryce Smith of JSC Red Hawks. Smith impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 25 rebounds. Of course he led Red Hawks to another comfortable win outscoring Navigators (#8, 0-13) 119-66. Red Hawks' 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-7 record. Smith is one of the most experienced players at Red Hawks and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#2). He also registered 12.8 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Stingerz's star - American Joshua Minner (198-F-1990). Minner got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for seven rebounds . He was another key player of Lava Smoke Elite Stingerz, helping his team with a 101-82 easy win against #4 ranked Ottos in a game of the week. Stingerz needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 10 victories and 4 lost games. Minner has a great season in Antigua. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.6ppg (best scorer) and assists with 4.6apg (7th best).
