Lindenwood inks Xavier Spencer

Lindenwood University signed 22-year old Antiguan-Canadian ex-international guard Xavier Spencer (6'1''-209lbs) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He moved there from University of Massachusetts - Lowell where he played for only one year. In 27 games last season, he had 12.3ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.2apg, and 1.4spg. For the two previous seasons (2023-25), he played at Ravens in Canadian U Sports in Canada. He was named to the All-OUA Second Team in 2025.
Spencer played at Carleton University between 2023-25. He was named to All-OUA Second Team in 2025. Spencer was named All-OUA Rookie of the Year and U Sports All-Canadian Rookie of the Year in 2024. He was also voted to All-OUA Third Team, OUA All-Rookie Team, and U Sports Canadian All-Rookie Team that year. Spencer was a member of the Antiguan Senior National Team in 2023.
He contributed to his team reaching the AEC Tournament Semifinals in 2026, and was chosen for the All-American East Conference Third Team in the same year.
