Ottos - Flyers 64-97

Flyers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Ottos' 36. Flyers forced 23 Ottos turnovers and outrebounded them 69-41 including a 50-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. Flyers looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Grenadian guard Kevin Cox (190-1993, college: UDC) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. American Nick Moore (198-1991, college: Alliance) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Flyers' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Nick Strawter (193-1997, college: St.Thomas, FL) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Danny Perez added 24 points and 4 steals in the effort for Ottos. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.

Dawkins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four DA-Project players scored in double figures. Guard Keroi Lee responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds and American forward Joshua Minner (198-1990, college: MACU) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists.
