Gimnasia clinched Torneo Super 20 title as they defeated Obras Sanitarias 85:79. They trailed 6 points first at the end of the first period and then 34-44 at the halftime. The second half however fully belonged to Gimnasia. They replied with a 28-19 rally in the third quarter and then closed the campaign with a 23-16 run.
Joaquin Mensia (198-F-1997, agency: Pro Sports) stepped up with 21 points and Tyrone White (201-G-1990, college: CSUB) delivered 20. Juan Pablo Venegas (183-PG-2000) answered with 18 points in a loss and Isaac Copeland (206-PF-1995, college: Nebraska) had 15.
