Boca eked out an 18-16 lead after ten minutes. They maintained the lead throughout the second frame. Boca arrived at halftime up by three points 31-28. Boca kept their opponents at distance throughout the third term. They established a 7-point advantage at the final intermission. Instituto sank 20 points in the fourth quarter but could not avoid the loss. Thomas Cooper (196-G-1992, college: Calgary) and Franco Giorgetti (203-F-1992) chipped in 14 points apiece in the win. Emmitt Holt (201-F-1996, college: Providence) unloaded 18 points for Instituto.
