    Penarol nipped Instituto to claim LDD title. 25 personal fouls committed by Instituto helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Juan Fernandez (198-99) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and Tomas Monacchi (196-97) chipped in 21 points.
