El Nacional MH return to Liga A - May 27, 2010

With the victory of el nacional over san martin corrientes on wedensday night, the activity of pro basketball in argentina in its three levels was ended. El nacional won the serie 3-1 and return to first division among Argentino junin. It was an amazing season for el nacional because they were not the best candidates to ascent. They were guided by a budding star like Alexis Elsener (196-G-88), some players with experience in TNA but also in liga A like Ezequiel Dentis, Jervaughn Scales, a good foreigner such as Francis Nwankwo and a player with a very special record: he was in the last 4 season of TNA in teams that were champion or at least got the ascent to liga A. He is Mario Sepulveda. San Martin lost two chances to win hte rightto play in liga a and now they will stay in TNA.

Argentino return to Liga A - May 18, 2010

Argentino Junin won to San martin Corrientes in the fifth game of the TNA finals and became champion. They also return to first division of argentinean basketball. It was an historic championship for them. First of all, they were not seen as favorites to win the league due to their young roster. Eventually, They not only won the tournament but they became in the first team to do it without losing any game at home. Pablo Espinoza (195-F-87), the MVP of the season was outstanding again in the finals, and this time he was helped by two other young players with a great future like Selem Safar (190-G-87) (28 points in the last game), MVP of the finals and Santiago Scala (186-G-91). Brice Assie was the best in a losing effort. However, everything is not lost for San martin. They will have a one last chance against El nacional Monte Hermoso to decide the second team that will play in Liga A next year. It will be an unpredictable serie.
