Riachuelo forced 29 Gorriones turnovers. Strangely Gorriones outrebounded Riachuelo 38-24 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) who helped to win the game recording 17 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Guard Julieta Tell (172-1993, agency: BIG) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Florencia Ortiz (160-2000) answered with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Lucia Pispieiro added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Gorriones. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Dalma Piri (175-2001) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Agustina Garcia (173-1996) who recorded 11 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Julia Centurion (189-2000) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
