Giacone re-signs at El Talar

El Talar (LaLiga Femenina) confirmed in their roster 20-year old forward Angelina Giacone (182cm-2005, agency: BIG) for season 2026-27. She played there last season. In 22 LaLiga Femenina games she recorded 6.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 1.0apg and 1.0spg. She helped them to make it to the semifinals. The previous (2024-25) season she played at another Argentinian team Riachuelo de La Rioja. Giacone also played 15 games in LaLiga Femenina where she averaged 8.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 1.1apg and 1.8spg in that year. She contributed to her team winning the regular season and make it to the final. Quite impressive year as she was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian La Liga Clausura Honorable Mention.
Giacone has played previously for three other teams: Obras, Quimsa, and Talleres.
She won the Argentinian La Liga Clausura championship title in 2022.
