Obras Basket tabs Dayshalee Salaman, ex Aguada

DAYSHALEE SALAMAN

Obras Basket Buenos Aires (LaLiga) inked 27-year old Puerto Rican international point guard Dayshalee Salaman (163-90, college: Lincoln Memorial). She played in the summer at Santeras de Aguada in Puerto Rican BSNF. In three games she recorded very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 2.7rpg and 7.0apg. She received also Latinbasket.com All-Centrobasket Honorable Mention award in 2017.
Salaman played in the final of Mexican LNBPF in 2016.
Salaman represented Puerto Rico at the Centrobasket in St. Thomas eighteen years ago. Her team won Bronze and her stats at that event were 5 games: 12.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.6apg, 1.6spg, FGP: 44.4%, 3PT: 36.4%, FT-2 (89.3%).
Salaman has played previously professionally in Puerto Rico (Leonas, Atenienses and Cangrejeras) and Mexico (Lobas).
She attended Lincoln Memorial University until 2010 and it will be her eighth season in pro basketball.
Salaman's game is described as: IM AN OFFENSVE ORIENTED GUARD THAT LIKES TO PLAY FULL COURT STYLE OFFENSE, I HAVE A QUICK FIRST STEP AND CAN READ DEFENSISES VERY WELL AND HAVE GOOD BALL CONTROL AND COURT VISION. I LEAD THE SOUTH ATLANTIC CONFERENCE DIV. II IN SCORING AND IN ASSIST. I WAS DAKTRONICS FIRST TEAM ALL SOUTHEAST REGION AND FIRST TEAM ALL SAC.
