Olimpico Ceres will need more victories to improve their 16-10 record. Brown turned to be Olimpico Ceres' top player in his first season with the team. Ouachita Baptist University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Brown is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.5ppg) and averages solid 61.6% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old power forward Gaston Marozzi (196-PF-95) of Union SF. Marozzi impressed basketball fans with 33 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course Union SF cruised to a 102-92 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Deportivo Norte (#4, 12-13). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in North - C.North. Union SF consolidated its place in top 3 of the standings. His team's 15-12 record is not bad at all. Marozzi is a newcomer at Union SF and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was American Corbin Jackson (198-F-92) of Ciclista (#6). Jackson scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Jackson's great performance Ciclista lost 74-87 to slightly higher-ranked Atenas (#4, 12-14). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Ciclista not to end season at such low position in South - South, however are less than slim as they have already lost 14 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jackson could try to bring Ciclista's a little bit higher in the standings. Jackson has individually a great season in Argentina.
