26-year old forward Corbin Jackson (198-F-92) put on an amazing game in the last round for Ciclista and receives a Interperformances La Liga Argentina Player of the Week award for round 22. He had a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat La Union (#7, 10-18) 82-77. Ciclista maintains the 5th position in their group in Argentinian La Liga Argentina. Jackson turned to be Ciclista's top player in his first season with the team. Florida Institute of Technology graduate has very impressive stats this year. Jackson leads league in rebounds with 11.6rpg. Jackson is in league's top in and averages solid 2.3bpg and 71.0% FGP. Second best performed player last round was Jaqhawn Walters (198-F-96, agency: Duran International) of Progreso Roca. He is American forward in his first season at Progreso Roca. In the last game Walters recorded impressive 29 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists. Bad luck as Progreso Roca lost that game 87-94 to slightly lower-ranked Gimnasia LP (#8, 9-18). Progreso Roca managed to keep the same 6th spot in South - South. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-15 record. Walters is a newcomer at Progreso Roca and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.
Third place about best performers goes to swingman Maximiliano Martin (189-G/F-90) of Obera TC (#6). Martin showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, ten rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Obera TC, leading his team to a 82-79 win against the higher-ranked San Isidro (#1, 20-6). The chances of Obera TC not to end season at such low position in North - C.North, however are less than slim as they have already lost 17 games, recording just eight victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Martin could try to bring Obera TC's a little bit higher in the standings. Martin has individually a great season in Argentina. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 5.3rpg (9th best). Maximiliano Martin has also Argentinian passport and can play in the league with a status of domestic player.
