The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

Top ranked Rocamora (12-4) recorded its fourth loss in Concepcion de Urug. on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by seventh ranked Parque Sur (7-9) 88-71. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Rocamora. Parque Sur made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Rocamora 35-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Pablo Alderete (196-93) who scored 19 points and 9 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Swingman Elnes Bolling (193-91) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Parque Sur's coach Rene Richard used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Arlando Cook (203-95, college: Arkansas) produced 24 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Parque Sur moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Ciclista. Rocamora at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Parque Sur will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Rocamora will play on the road against Progreso in General Roca and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Santiago del Estero. Fifth ranked Independiente (8-7) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th placed Deportivo Norte (8-9) 97-94 on Saturday evening. orchestrated the victory by scoring 26 points and 4 assists. Jose Martinez-Suarez contributed with 18 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. point guard Rodrigo Gallegos (180-91) answered with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for Deportivo Norte. Independiente maintains fifth place with 8-7 record. Deportivo Norte at the other side keeps the fourth position with nine games lost. They share it with Ameghino. Independiente will play against league's second-placed Salta Basket at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Deportivo Norte will play against Olimpico and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Union SF (9-8) against fourth ranked Olimpico (9-7) on Saturday night. Visiting Union SF was defeated by Olimpico in Ceres 87-76. It was a great evening for Tirrell Brown who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Patricio Rodriguez responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Olimpico have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Olimpico maintains fourth place with 9-7 record, which they share with Racing Chivilcoy. Union SF lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the second position with eight games lost. They share it with Rivadavia M.. Olimpico will meet Deportivo Norte (#4) in the next round. Union SF will play against Sportivo America in Rosario and hope to secure a win.

Visiting Union SF was defeated by Independiente in a tough game in Santiago del Estero 74-80. It was an exceptional evening for Nicolas Kalalo who led the winners and scored 17 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Independiente maintains fifth place with 8-7 record. Union SF lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the second position with eight games lost. Independiente's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Salta Basket at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Union SF will play against Sportivo America in Rosario and hope to win that game.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Racing Chivilcoy (9-7) against fifth ranked Ciclista (7-9) on Friday night. Visiting Racing Chivilcoy was defeated by Ciclista in a tough game in Juninense 67-71. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Racing Chivilcoy. The best player for the winners was Corbin Jackson who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Ciclista's coach Leonardo Costa allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Ciclista maintains fifth place with 7-9 record, which they share with Parque Sur. Newly promoted Racing Chivilcoy dropped to the fourth position with seven games lost. Ciclista will have a break next round. Racing Chivilcoy will play on the road against the league's second-placed Rivadavia M. (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 11 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Tiro Federal was defeated by Barrio Parque in Cordoba 62-56. Echague was beaten by Hindu at home 83-88. Deportivo Norte lost to Salta Basket on the opponent's court 81-96. Obera TC unfortunately lost to Ameghino in a home game 68-80. Hindu managed to beat Sportivo America on the road 84-75. Deportivo Viedma defeated Estudiantes O. on its own court 83-78. Estudiantes O. beat Atenas in Olavarria 115-108. Gimnasia LP won against Rivadavia M. at home 90-83. Petrolero was outscored by La Union on the opponent's court 84-59. Platense rolled over Rivadavia M. in a home game 79-59.
The best stats of 11th round was 12 points and 9 rebounds by Alejandro Pappalardi of Platense.



Barrio Parque - Tiro Federal 62-56

There was no surprise in Cordoba where 7th ranked Tiro Federal (4-11) was defeated by second ranked Barrio Parque (12-5) 62-56 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Barrio Parque outrebounded Tiro Federal 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was naturalized Italian Juan Kelly (190-88) who scored 18 points and 4 assists. Swingman Lautaro Rivata (191-87) chipped in 7 points and 14 rebounds. Swingman Bruno Oprandi (190-85) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Nahuel Paciotti (183-97) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. Barrio Parque have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Deportivo Viedma. Tiro Federal lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost. Barrio Parque will face Ameghino (#5) in Villa Maria in the next round. Tiro Federal will play on the road against Villa San Martin in Resistencia and hope to win that game.
