We bring you last week's top performances from Argentinians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

   #1. This week's number one is an international forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93, currently plays in Basketball Champions League). He led his Spanish team CB Canarias to a victory over the fifth-ranked JSF Nanterre (4-5) 79-68 in the Basketball Champions League in Tuesday night's game. Brussino was MVP of the game. He scored 20 points in 23 minutes on the court. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (8-1) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League. It was CB Canarias' sixth consecutive victory in a row. This year Brussino averages: 9.6ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 88.9%(16-18), 3FGP: 41.2% in nine games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91, currently plays in Euroleague). Campazzo was the major contributor in a Real Madrid's victory against the 11th-ranked Panathinaikos (6-8) crushing them 89-68 in the Euroleague last Wednesday. He recorded 13 points and added 5 assists. Real Madrid (12-2) is placed second in the Euroleague. Campazzo's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Campazzo's overall stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.6apg, 1.6spg, 2FGP: 46.5%, 3FGP: 41.5% and FT: 89.2%. He is in the roster of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #3. The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international guard Luca Vildoza (190-95, currently plays in Euroleague). Vildoza contributed to Baskonia's victory against the closely-ranked Gran Canaria (5-9) 84-71 in the Euroleague in Tuesday night's game. He recorded 13 points, 6 assists and 3 steals. Kirolbet Baskonia Vitoria (6-8) is placed tenth in the Euroleague. Vildoza's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. Vildoza's overall stats this season are: 7.7ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.1apg, 3FGP: 45.3%(24-53) and FT: 85.7%. He is also a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #4. An experienced power forward Luis Scola (206-80, currently plays in China) contributed to Sharks' victory against the 14th-ranked Monkey Kings (8-15) 113-105 in the Chinese CBA last Thursday. Scola had a double-double by scoring 19 points and getting 13 rebounds. He also added 4 assists in 35 minutes. Shanghai Sharks (15-8) are placed seventh in the CBA. Scola has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 19.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg in 22 games. Scola has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Spanish. He is also Argentinian national team player.

International center Marcos Delia (211-92, agency: Best of You Sports, currently plays in Basketball Champions League) contributed to an UCAM Murcia's victory against the seventh-ranked Ventspils (3-6) 67-61 in the Basketball Champions League on Wednesday night. Delia scored 7 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Universidad Catolica de Murcia CB (8-1) is placed first in the Basketball Champions League. Delia's overall stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 6.1rpg and 1.7apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian. Delia plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

Despite Delfino's very good performance Fiat TO was badly defeated 77-60 on the road by the much higher-ranked Openjobmetis VA (#4). He was the second best scorer with 15 points. Delfino also added 5 rebounds. It's Delfino's first season with the team. His total stats this year are: 7.9ppg, 3.1rpg and 1.3apg. Delfino used to play for the Argentinian national team two years ago.

Guard Nicolas Laprovittola (190-90, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked CB Canarias (7-6) crushing them 84-64 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. He recorded 11 points and added 3 assists in 28 minutes. Divina Seguros Juventut Badalona (6-6) is placed ninth in the Liga Endesa. Laprovittola has relatively good stats this year: 14.3ppg, 2.2rpg and 7.3apg in 12 games. He plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

Fernandez recorded 12 points. Alma-Agenzia Per Il Lavoro Trieste (6-5) is placed sixth in the Serie A. Fernandez's total stats this season are: 9.9ppg, 1.7rpg, 3.4apg and 1.3spg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team four years ago.

Cantero's total stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 1.3rpg, 3.7apg and 1.7spg. He is a former international player as eight years ago he still played for the Argentinian senior national team.

International point guard Lucio Redivo (183-94, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Leche Rio Breogan's victory against the closely-ranked Andorra 85-79 in the Spanish Liga Endesa last Sunday. Redivo recorded 6 points and added 7 assists in 22 minutes. This year Redivo has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg, 2.2rpg and 2.5apg in 12 games. He plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

   #12. Former U19 international guard Cristian Cortes (185-90, also represented by Best of You Sports, currently plays in Mexico) helped Fuerza Regia win their game against the leader Capitanes 90-71 in the Mexican LNBP (second division) on Saturday night. Cortes scored only 4 points and added 3 assists. Cortes' total stats this season are: 6.2ppg, 2.1rpg and 3.1apg. He used to play for the Argentinian U19 national team back in 2009.

   #13. U17 international small forward Leandro Bolmaro (198-0, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help Barca II (4-10) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Bolmaro's good performance Barca II was defeated 82-73 in Sevilla by the leading Real Betis. He scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Bolmaro's total stats this season are: 9.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.7apg and 1.7spg. He used to play for the Argentinian U17 national team last year.

   #14. International center Daniel Amigo (208-95, college: Denver, currently plays in Hungary) was not able to secure a victory for DEAC in their game against Sopron KC in the Hungarian A Division. He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 20 minutes. His team was badly defeated by 17 points 102-85. This year Amigo's total stats are: 9.2ppg and 5.5rpg in 11 games. He is a naturalized American. Amigo used to play for the Argentinian national team last year. Strangely he has never played in Argentina.

   #15. Former international shooting guard Federico Van Lacke (191-80, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Gipuzkoa in their game against FC Barcelona in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Van Lacke cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 3 points. His team was crushed by 33 points 104-71. Van Lacke has averaged so far 5.3ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.3apg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team five years ago.

   #1. Ariel Filloy (189-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a Sidigas AV's victory against the 11th-ranked Banco di Srd (4-7) 86-78 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. Filloy scored 10 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 7 assists in 34 minutes. Sidigas Avellino (7-4) is placed fifth in the Serie A. This year Filloy's overall stats are: 7.3ppg, 4.3rpg and 4.2apg in 11 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #2. Experienced Albano Chiarastella (199-F-85, agency: Octagon Europe, currently plays in Italy) could not help Eurotrend BI (7-6) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Chiarastella's good performance the eighth-placed Eurotrend BI (7-6) was defeated 90-85 on the road by the higher-ranked Benacquista LT (#5) in the West group. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Chiarastella's total stats this season are: 3.6ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.6apg. He is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #3. Nicolas Ferreyra (185-PG-85, currently plays in Chile) led Deportivo Valdivia to a 2-point victory over the fourth-ranked Puente Alto (8-9) 81-79 in the Chilean Liga Nacional on Sunday night. Ferreyra was the best player in that game. He scored 25 points and added 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) in 39 minutes. Club Deportivo Valdivia (12-5) is placed second in Conferencia Sur. Ferreyra has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 18.1ppg, 2.6rpg and 6.5apg in 17 games.

   #4. Bruno Cerella (194-G/F-86, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Umana Reyer Venezia in a victory against one of league's weakest teams MIA-RO Cantu (3-8) crushing them 93-71 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Cerella scored only 3 points in 5 minutes on the court. Umana Reyer Venezia (9-2) is placed second in the Serie A. This year Cerella's total stats are: 0.8ppg and 1.1rpg in 10 games. He has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #5. Andres Forray (187-PG-86, currently plays in EuroCup) was not able to help Dolomiti En. TR in their last game on Tuesday. Despite Forray's good performance Dolomiti En. TR was defeated 95-83 at home by the higher-ranked Valencia Basket (#3). He recorded 11 points. Forray is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his eighth year in Dolomiti En. TR's roster. Forray's total stats this season are: 7.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.4spg. He also holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #6. Juan Bergel (190-SG-89, currently plays in Israel) led Maccabi Haifa to an easy victory against the 12th-ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba crushing them 95-71 in the Israeli National League (second division) on Tuesday night. Bergel scored 12 points in a mere 15 minutes. This year his total stats are: 4.9ppg and 1.4rpg in nine games. Bergel has Argentinian and Israeli nationalities.

   #7. Pablo Bertone (193-SG-90, also represented by Interperformances, college: Florida Atlantic, currently plays in Italy) helped Openjobmetis VA win their game against the 12th-ranked Fiat TO 77-60 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Bertone recorded only 2 points in 5 minutes on the court. This year Bertone averages just 1.1ppg in 10 games. He has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #8. Brian Savoy (186-G-92, currently plays in Switzerland) was not able to secure a victory for Neuchatel (8-4) in their last game. Despite Savoy's good performance Neuchatel was badly defeated 75-56 on the opponent's court by the second-ranked Fribourg. He recorded 10 points and added 4 assists in 26 minutes. Savoy has reliable stats this year: 13.8ppg, 3.1rpg and 4.6apg in 12 games. He has Argentinian and Swiss nationalities.

   #9. Agustin Fabi (199-F/G-91, currently plays in Italy) led Benacquista LT to a 3-point victory over the second-ranked Bergamo Bsk 109-106 in the Italian Serie A2 (second division) in Tuesday night's game. Fabi was the best player in that game. He recorded 30 points (!!!). This season Fabi has very high stats. He averages: 20.1ppg, 3.2rpg and 3.9apg. Fabi has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #10. Bernardo Musso (193-G-86, another player represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Novipiu Casale (8-5) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Musso's good performance the third-placed Novipiu Casale was defeated 101-89 in Scafati by the much lower-ranked Givova (#13) in the West group. He scored 10 points. Musso has reliable stats this season: 12.8ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.6spg. He has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.
