It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in La Liga, but even now we can clearly see the differece between stronger teams and outsiders. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results. The round ended with favorites losing the games, games ending by tiny margin and even winless team recording their first victory. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game between second ranked Boca Juniors (5-2) and tenth ranked San Martin Corrientes (4-3) was the most important one in the last round on Wednesday night. Boca Juniors was defeated by San Martin Corrientes in a tough game in Buenos Aires 76-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Boca Juniors. San Martin Corrientes made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Boca Juniors 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. San Martin Corrientes looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American power forward Lee Roberts (201-87, college: Findlay, OH) fired 19 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. International point guard Lucas Faggiano (188-89, college: LIU Brooklyn) chipped in 17 points and 10 assists. The former international forward Matias Sandes (201-84) produced 20 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for lost side. San Martin Corrientes moved-up to ninth place. Boca Juniors at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Ferro and Gimnasia. San Martin Corrientes are looking forward to face higher ranked Gimnasia (#5) in Comodoro Rivadavia in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Boca Juniors' supporters also look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Buenos Aires to the arena Ferro.
Argentino can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked La Union (3-3) 90-84. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Leron Black (201-96, college: Illinois) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Nicholas Wiggins contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Spanish guard Jonathan Maldonado (188-90) answered with 19 points and 5 assists for La Union.
