The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Olimpico as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Olimpico defeated 3rd placed Deportivo Norte in Ceres 109-91. Olimpico dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Deportivo Norte's 42. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American Tirrell Brown (198-93, college: Ouachita Baptist) who scored 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). point guard Milton Vittar (186-91) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Rodrigo Gallegos (180-91) who recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Olimpico (22-11) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Deportivo Norte at the other side keeps the third place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Union SF. Deportivo Norte will play next round against Independiente trying to get back on the winning streak. Olimpico will try to continue on its current victory against eighth ranked Sportivo America in Rosario.
Important game to mention about took place in Santiago del Estero. Fifth ranked Independiente (13-15) saved a 2-point victory at home edging their close opponent Ameghino (14-19) 79-77 in the game for the fifth place. It was a good game for forward Joaquin Deck (198-92) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks. Damian Palacios contributed with 11 points and 10 assists for the winners. Power forward Juan-Luis Abeiro (195-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for Ameghino. Independiente maintains fifth place with 13-15 record which they share with defeated Ameghino. Ameghino lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifth position with 19 games lost. Independiente will play against Sportivo America (#8) in Rosario in the next round. Ameghino will play at home against Villa San Martin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Deportivo Norte (17-15) against sixth ranked Tiro Federal (9-24) on Monday night. Visiting Deportivo Norte was defeated by Tiro Federal in Morteros 88-77. It was a great evening for Bruno Oprandi who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Rodrigo Gallegos with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Tiro Federal maintains sixth place with 9-24 record. Loser Deportivo Norte keeps the third position with 15 games lost. They share it with Union SF. Tiro Federal will meet at home Obera TC (#6) in the next round. Deportivo Norte will play against Independiente and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Chivilcoy. First ranked CA Platense faced second-best Racing Chivilcoy. Guests from Florida (25-8) defeated host Racing Chivilcoy (18-15) 79-65. It was an exceptional evening for Cedric Blossom who led the winners and scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for CA Platense. They maintain first place with 25-8 record. Newly promoted Racing Chivilcoy dropped to the third position with 15 games lost. CA Platense's next round opponent will be Gimnasia LP (#8) in La Plata and are hoping to win another game. Racing Chivilcoy will play on the road against the league's second-placed Estudiantes O. (#2) in Olavarria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Rivadavia. Third ranked Estudiantes O. faced second-best Rivadavia M.. Guests from Olavarria (18-11) defeated host Rivadavia M. (16-17) 75-63. The best player for the winners was Pablo Moya who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Estudiantes O. moved-up to second place. Loser Rivadavia M. dropped to the fourth position with 17 games lost. Estudiantes O. will face Racing Chivilcoy (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rivadavia M. will play against Petrolero in Plaza Huincul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 27 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Barrio Parque defeated Echague in Cordoba 77-63. Obera TC beat Union SF at home 85-79. Obera TC was destroyed by San Isidro on the opponent's court 77-53. Atenas managed to outperform Petrolero in a home game 87-77. Gimnasia LP recorded a loss to Ciclista on the road 79-73. La Union was defeated by Rocamora on its own court 68-76. Progreso Roca beat La Union in General Roca 88-73.

There was no surprise in Parana where 7th ranked Echague (6-25) was defeated by first ranked Barrio Parque (24-7) 77-63 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Barrio Parque. Echague was better in second period 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was naturalized Italian Juan Kelly (190-88) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. The former international Gabriel Mikulas (201-80, college: E.Carolina, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Facundo Toia (179-94) who recorded 25 points and American forward Paul Larsen (198-92, college: Mercer) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Echague's coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Barrio Parque. They maintain first place with 24-7 record. Echague lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 25 games lost. Barrio Parque will face Union SF (#4) in Santa Fe in the next round.
