There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in La Liga Argentina. The fans could enjoy quite many interesting games in the last round. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

La Liga Argentina round 34 caused change at the leadership position. Thirteenth defeat of league's leader Hindu (24-13) against second ranked Olimpico (25-12) 82-79 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Hindu. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Olimpico dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hindu's 32. 24 personal fouls committed by Hindu helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Pablo Martinez (197-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. point guard Matias Martinez (178-94) contributed with 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. The former international Diego Guaita (204-83) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists for Hindu. Olimpico keeps a position of league leader. Hindu at the other side dropped to the second place with 13 games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Olimpico Ceres. Hindu will play next round against strong Villa San Martin trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Olimpico will try to continue on its current victory against sixth ranked Tiro Federal in Morteros.
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Deportivo Viedma (24-15) in Florida. Visitors were defeated by CA Platense (28-10) 60-53. American forward Cedric Blossom (198-94, college: Morgan St.) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Pablo Bruna chipped in 11 points during the contest. At the losing side American Kenny Jones (198-84, college: Kentucky St.) responded with 10 points and 7 rebounds. CA Platense maintains first position with 28-10 record, which they share with Barrio Parque. Deportivo Viedma at the other side still keeps top place with 15 games lost. CA Platense will play against Parque Sur (#5) in Concepcion de Urug. in the next round. Deportivo Viedma will play on the road against Gimnasia LP (#7) in La Plata and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Atenas (21-18) against fourth ranked Rivadavia M. (20-19) on Monday night. Visiting Atenas was defeated by Rivadavia M. in a tough game in Rivadavia 71-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Atenas. Facundo Alberici notched 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort. Even 20 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) by Joaquin Gamazo did not help to save the game for Atenas. Atenas' coach Carlos Romano rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rivadavia M. have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 20-19 record, which they share with Deportivo Norte. Loser Atenas keeps the second place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Rocamora and C.Espanol P.. Rivadavia M. will meet at home higher ranked C.Espanol P. (#3) in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Atenas will play against Petrolero in Plaza Huincul and hope to secure a win.
An interesting game for Racing Chivilcoy (23-16) which played road game in Rocamora against one of their biggest challengers Rocamora (21-18). Third ranked Racing Chivilcoy managed to get a 13-point victory 72-59. Tyrone OGarro fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Rocamora's coach Juan Manuel Varas tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Racing Chivilcoy have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Racing Chivilcoy maintains third position with 23-16 record behind leader Olimpico Ceres, which they share with Union SF. Rocamora at the other side dropped to the second place with 18 games lost. Racing Chivilcoy's next round opponent will be La Union (#8) in Colon where they are favorite. Rocamora will play on the road against the league's second-placed Estudiantes O. (#2) in Olavarria and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
And finally the game worth to mention about is Gimnasia LP's win against 4th ranked Rocamora 64-58. It was a very good performance for Leonardo La-Bella who helped to win the game recording 26 points. Rocamora's coach Juan Manuel Varas let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Gimnasia LP maintains seventh position with 14-24 record. Loser Rocamora dropped to the second place with 18 games lost. Gimnasia LP will face league's leader Deportivo Viedma in Rio Negro in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rocamora will play on the road against the league's second-placed Estudiantes O. having rather not much hope for a victory.

Other games in round 34 were not that significant. Obera TC was beaten by Deportivo Norte on the road 90-76. Echague lost to Union SF on its own court 84-94. Tiro Federal was outscored by Salta Basket in a road game 74-94. Sportivo America recorded a loss to Villa San Martin at home 80-86. Progreso Roca was defeated by Atenas on the opponent's court 86-81. C.Espanol P. smashed Ciclista in a home game 102-76. Progreso Roca was destroyed by Estudiantes O. on the road 106-81.
