There was no lack of interesting games this round. The round ended with defeat of the leader, favorites losing the games and games ending by tiny margin. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked San Lorenzo (21-2) in Buenos Aires on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by third ranked Ferro (18-11) 106-69. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of San Lorenzo. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Ferro dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to San Lorenzo's 40. They outrebounded San Lorenzo 43-27 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ferro looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by San Lorenzo's players. It was a great evening for forward Mariano Fierro (200-86) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Charles Mitchell (203-93, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 19 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Jose Vildoza (190-96, agency: Interperformances) with 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ferro have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Regatas C. Defending champion San Lorenzo still keeps top position with two games lost. Ferro is looking forward to face Hispano Am. (#15) in Rio Gallegos in the next round which should be another easy win for them. San Lorenzo will play on the road against Gimnasia (#5) in Comodoro Rivadavia and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Corrientes. Eighth ranked Estudiantes C. (15-13) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging second-best Regatas Corrientes (18-11) 86-85 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Regatas Corrientes. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Italian power forward Agustin Ambrosino (203-90, college: BYU, agency: Interperformances) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
