The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The game between third ranked Obras Basket (18-11) and twentieth ranked Argentino (9-22) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Obras Basket was defeated by Argentino in a tough game in Junin 67-74. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Obras Basket. American forward Leron Black (201-96, college: Illinois) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import center Arkeem Joseph (206-94, college: Texas A&M Int.) contributed with 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Eric Anderson (204-93, college: New Haven, agency: Duran International) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds for Obras Basket. Obras Basket's coach Gregorio Martinez rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Argentino moved-up to nineteenth place. Obras Basket at the other side dropped to the sixth position with 11 games lost. Argentino will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Obras Basket will play on the road against Bahia Basket (#15) in Bahia Blanca and is hoping to win this game.
