   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91, currently plays in Euroleague). He was the major contributor in a Real Madrid's victory against the closely-ranked Panathinaikos (16-14) 89-82 in the Euroleague in Tuesday night's game. Campazzo had a double-double by scoring 16 points and making 10 passes in 31 minutes on the court. Real Madrid (22-8) is placed third in the Euroleague. This year Campazzo averages: 8.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 4.8apg, 1.6spg, 3FGP: 36.6% and FT: 89.3% in 32 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international small forward Patricio Garino (198-93, college: GWU, currently plays in Euroleague). Garino could not help Baskonia (15-15) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Baskonia was defeated 92-83 at home by the second-ranked CSKA. Garino was the second best scorer with 16 points. Garino's overall stats this season are: 5.6ppg, 1.4rpg, 2FGP: 57.6%(19-33), 3FGP: 44.4% and FT: 73.7%. He is in the roster of the Argentinian senior national team.

The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Gabriel Deck (199-95, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Facundo Campazzo. But that was another game of his team in Spanish Liga Endesa which we would like to mention. Deck contributed to a Real Madrid's victory against the 16th-ranked Leche Rio Breogan (9-18) 94-89. He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 17 minutes. Real Madrid (22-5) is placed second in the Liga Endesa. It was his team's eighth consecutive victory in a row. This year Deck's overall stats are: 5.0ppg, 3.2rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 56.5%(39-69), 3FGP: 22.7% and FT: 61.9% in 24 games. He is also a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93, currently plays in Spain) led CB Canarias to a victory against the closely-ranked Joventut (15-13) 79-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Wednesday night's game. Brussino scored 12 points, made 3 passes and 3 steals. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (15-14) is placed eighth in the Liga Endesa. Brussino's total stats this season are: 5.8ppg, 2.3rpg and 1.1apg. He is also Argentinian national team player.

However that was another game of his team in Euroleague which brought him to that list. Vildoza was not able to help Baskonia in their game against CSKA (23-7). He scored 7 points, had 6 rebounds and dished 4 assists (went 5 for 5 at the free throw line) in 23 minutes. Baskonia lost 77-84 on their home court in Vitoria to the second-ranked CSKA. This year Vildoza's total stats are: 9.1ppg, 2.3rpg, 3.8apg and 1.1spg in 34 games. He plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

   #6. Guard Nicolas Laprovittola (190-90, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Nicolas Brussino in the Spanish Liga Endesa last game. Laprovittola was not able to secure a victory for Joventut (15-13) in their last game. Despite his good performance Joventut lost 72-79 on the road to the lower-ranked (#8) CB Canarias. Laprovittola scored 10 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished 9 assists in 36 minutes. Laprovittola has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 16.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 6.3apg in 29 games. Laprovittola is an international player who is currently on the senior Argentinian National Team roster.

   #7. An experienced former international point guard Nicolas Richotti (183-86, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Brussino. But that was another game of his team in Spanish Liga Endesa we would like to talk about. Richotti helped CB Canarias win their game against the closely-ranked Andorra (14-16) 87-83. He scored 12 points. Iberostar Tenerife CB Canarias (15-14) is placed eighth in the Liga Endesa. It's Richotti's ninth season with the team. Richotti has averaged so far 4.1ppg, 1.1rpg and 1.1apg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team three years ago.

   #8. Point guard Lucio Redivo (183-94, currently plays in Spain) faced previously mentioned Gabriel Deck in the Spanish Liga Endesa last game. Redivo couldn't help Leche Rio Breogan (9-18) in their game against Real Madrid (22-5), despite his very good performance on Saturday night. He was the top scorer with 19 points. Redivo also added 6 rebounds in 28 minutes. But Leche Rio Breogan lost 89-94 in Madrid to the second-ranked Real. Redivo has relatively good stats this year: 10.8ppg, 1.9rpg and 2.3apg in 26 games. He plays currently for the Argentinian national team.

International center Marcos Delia (211-92, agency: Best of You Sports, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Laprovittola and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game. Delia couldn't help Joventut (15-13) in their game against CB Canarias (15-14). Despite his good performance in Wednesday night's game He was the second best scorer with 11 points. Delia also added 4 rebounds. Delia has averaged so far 5.1ppg and 1.9rpg. He is also in the roster of the Argentinian national team.

   #10. Center Daniel Amigo (208-95, college: Denver, currently plays in Hungary) couldn't help DEAC (13-17) in their game against ZTE KK (14-17) in the Hungarian A Division. Despite his very good performance on Sunday night Amigo was the second best scorer with 18 points. He also added 6 rebounds. There are only four games left until the end of the Second Stage. So now every game will be critical. It's Amigo's first season with the team. This year Amigo has relatively solid stats: 11.7ppg and 6.1rpg. He is a naturalized American. Amigo is a former international player as two years ago he still played for the Argentinian senior national team. Strangely he has never played in Argentina.

   #11. Former international guard Juan Fernandez (193-90, college: Temple, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Alma TR in their game against Happy Casa BR in the Italian Serie A. Fernandez recorded 6 points. His team was defeated 85-77. Fernandez has averaged so far 9.7ppg, 1.6rpg and 2.6apg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team five years ago.

   #12. Former international shooting guard Federico Van Lacke (191-80, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Delteco Gipuzkoa BC San Sebastian in a victory against the 12th-ranked Blusens Monbus 85-72 in the Spanish Liga Endesa on Saturday night. Van Lacke scored 5 points and added 3 assists in 21 minutes. Van Lacke has averaged so far 4.1ppg, 1.5rpg and 1.6apg in 29 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2013.

   #13. Former international point guard Juan Pablo Cantero (184-82, currently plays in Portugal) helped Benfica win their game against the leader Oliveirense 84-79 in the Portuguese LPB in Wednesday night's game. Cantero recorded 5 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Cantero has averaged so far 7.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 4.4apg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team nine years ago.

   #14. Former U18 international shooting guard Enzo Ruiz (193-88, currently plays in Brazil) couldn't help Paschoalotto/Bauru in their game against Vivo/Franca in the Brazilian NBB. Ruiz scored 6 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 32 minutes. His team lost 77-83. He has averaged so far 10.0ppg, 3.2rpg and 1.8apg in 31 games. Ruiz used to play for the Argentinian U18 national team back in 2006.

   #15. Former U17 international small forward Leandro Bolmaro (198-0, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams Barca II in their game against CB Prat in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). Bolmaro scored 5 points and added 5 assists. His team was defeated 70-66. He has reliable stats this season: 10.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 2.6apg and 1.2spg. Bolmaro used to play for the Argentinian U17 national team two years ago.


The list of other players, who all have Argentinian passport but never been selected to any of Argentinian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Nicolas Ferreyra (185-PG-85, currently plays in Chile) could not help Deportivo Valdivia (20-12) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Ferreyra's very good performance the second-placed Deportivo Valdivia (20-12) was defeated 90-85 on the road by the lower-ranked Los Leones (#3) in the Conferencia Sur. He was the second best scorer with 22 points. Ferreyra also added 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Ferreyra has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 15.9ppg, 2.4rpg and 6.2apg.

   #2. Ariel Filloy (189-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Sidigas AV in their game against Armani Milano (21-7) in the Italian Serie A. Filloy recorded 6 points and added 3 passes in 22 minutes. Sidigas AV lost 79-85 in Milano to the leading Armani. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Filloy has averaged so far 9.0ppg, 3.9rpg and 4.4apg in 25 games he played so far. He has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #3. Bernardo Musso (193-G-86, also represented by Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for Novipiu Casale (16-12) in their last game. Despite Musso's very good performance the seventh-placed Novipiu Casale (16-12) was edged 78-76 in Verona by the higher-ranked (#4) Tezenis VER in the West group. He was the top scorer with 20 points in 23 minutes. It was Novipiu Casale's first loss after six consecutive victories. Musso has reliable stats this year: 12.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 3.3apg and 1.4spg in 29 games. He is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #4. Albano Chiarastella (199-F-85, agency: Octagon Europe, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Edilnol Bl (16-12) in their game against GSA Udine (18-12) in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Chiarastella cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 3 points in 23 minutes. The sixth-placed Edilnol Bl (16-12) lost 72-81 in Udine to the higher-ranked (#5) GSA Udine in the West group. Chiarastella has averaged so far 4.3ppg, 6.4rpg and 2.2apg in 28 games. Similarly like Musso and Filloy above he has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #5. Andres Forray (187-PG-86, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Dolomiti En. TR (16-12) in their game against Virtus Bologna (14-15) in the Italian Serie A. Forray cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He recorded only 2 points. Dolomiti En. TR was defeated 74-69 in Bologna by the lower-ranked Virtus (#11). It was Dolomiti En. TR's first loss after four consecutive victories. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Forray has been at the team for eight years. Forray has averaged so far 7.0ppg, 2.0rpg, 1.8apg and 1.1spg. Similarly like three previous players above, he also holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #6. Bruno Cerella (194-G/F-86, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) managed to help Umana Reyer Venezia in a victory against the 14th-ranked Grissin Bon RE 76-71 in the Italian Serie A in Sunday night's game. Cerella recorded only one point in 2 minutes on the court. This year he averages only 1.0ppg in 24 games. Cerella has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #7. Marcelo Dip (205-C-84, another player represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Deco's victory against the eighth-ranked Nardo 86-78 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Sunday. He recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Dip has reliable stats this season: 11.2ppg, 7.1rpg and 2.1apg. Similarly like five previous players above, he holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

   #8. Emiliano Paparella (184-PG-83, another player represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Fabriano (19-9) in their last game on Sunday. Despite his good performance the third-placed Fabriano was defeated 78-65 at home by the lower-ranked Cuore Napoli (#7) in the Group C. Paparella was the top scorer with 13 points. He also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Paparella has reliable stats this season: 10.9ppg, 3.4rpg, 3.1apg and 1.3spg. He has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #9. Franco Migliori (200-F/G-82, currently plays in Italy) was the major contributor in Chieti's victory against the sixth-ranked Roma Luiss crushing them 81-55 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Sunday. Migliori recorded 14 points and added 3 assists in a mere 15 minutes. He has reliable stats this year: 12.3ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.0apg in 11 games. Similarly like seven previous players above, Migliori holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

   #10. Mario Jose Ghersetti (201-PF-81, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Pompea MNV in their game against Bergamo Bsk in the Italian Serie A2 (second division). Despite his very good performance on Sunday night He recorded 13 points. Ghersetti has reliable stats this season: 10.7ppg, 4.2rpg and 1.2apg. He has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

San Martin de Curuzu Cuatia (TFB) confirmed in their roster 29-year old guard Franco Aguirre (190-90). He has played there for two seasons. In the last one, he played for AMAD de Goya.
