   #1. This week's number one is an international guard Nicolas Laprovittola (190-90, currently plays in Spain). He led Joventut to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked La ICL Manresa (17-16) 86-70 in the Spanish Liga Endesa in Sunday night's game. Laprovittola scored 13 points, made 8 passes and 3 steals in 29 minutes on the court. Divina Seguros Juventut Badalonais placed in the Liga Endesa. It's Laprovittola's first season with the team. He has individually a very good year with high stats. Laprovittola averages: 16.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 6.4apg, 2FGP: 53.3%, 3FGP: 38.3% and FT: 79.1% in 32 games he played so far. He is currently a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international point guard Lucio Redivo (183-94, currently plays in Spain). Redivo could not help Leche Rio Breogan (9-22) in their last game on Saturday. Despite his very good performance Leche Rio Breogan was defeated 91-84 on the road by the much higher-ranked Andorra (#8). Redivo was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 5 rebounds and dished 4 assists. Redivo's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. Redivo has relatively good stats this season: 11.0ppg, 1.9rpg, 2.2apg, 2FGP: 41.1%, 3FGP: 28.6% and FT: 85.7%. He is in the roster of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #3. The Argentinian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Franco Balbi (185-89, currently plays in Brazil). Balbi contributed to Flamengo's victory against the closely-ranked Vivo/Franca (23-3) 82-68 in the Brazilian NBB last Sunday. He recorded 9 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists in 32 minutes. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Clube de Regatas do Flamengo (22-4) is placed first in the NBB. It was his team's 11th consecutive victory in a row. This year Balbi has relatively solid stats: 10.4ppg, 3.8rpg, 5.8apg, 1.7spg, 2FGP: 46.6%, 3FGP: 37.0% and FT: 83.8% in 34 games. He is also a member of the Argentinian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Nicolas Brussino (202-93, currently plays in Spain) was not able to help CB Canarias in their game against Unicaja Malaga in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Brussino scored 5 points and added 4 assists in 18 minutes. CB Canarias lost 85-92 in Malaga to the higher-ranked Unicaja. They ended the series of five consecutive victories. His team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial. This year Brussino's overall stats are: 6.2ppg, 2.2rpg and 1.2apg in 33 games. He is also Argentinian national team player.

Former international center Daniel Amigo (208-95, college: Denver, currently plays in Hungary) was the major contributor in DEAC's victory against the fifth-ranked ZTE KK (14-20) crushing them 100-79 in the Hungarian A Division last Sunday. Amigo scored 23 points and grabbed 7 rebounds; quite an impressive performance considering it's only his third season in pro basketball. Debreceni Egyetem (17-17) is placed third in Places 6-10 group. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. The Second Stage already ended. Amigo has reliable stats this season: 12.1ppg and 6.4rpg. He is a naturalized American. Amigo used to play for the Argentinian national team two years ago. Strangely he has never played in Argentina.

   #6. Center Marcos Delia (211-92, agency: Best of You Sports, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Laprovittola and both played together in the last Spanish Liga Endesa game. Delia contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked La ICL Manresa (17-16) 86-70. He scored 9 points in only 13 minutes. This year Delia's total stats are: 5.9ppg and 2.4rpg in 18 games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Argentinian National Team roster.

Richotti was not able to secure a victory for CB Canarias (18-15) in their game against Unicaja Malaga. He cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Richotti scored only 3 points. CB Canarias was defeated 92-85 in Malaga by the higher-ranked Unicaja. Richotti has been at the team for nine years. He has averaged so far 5.2ppg and 1.1apg. Richotti used to play for the Argentinian national team three years ago.

   #8. Guard Juan Fernandez (193-90, college: Temple, currently plays in Italy) couldn't help Alma TR (16-14) in their game against Armani Milano (23-7) in the Italian Serie A. He scored 5 points in 11 minutes. Alma TR lost 88-93 in Milano to the leading Armani. It was Alma TR's third consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be important. Fernandez has averaged so far 9.1ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.5apg in 31 games. He used to play for the Argentinian national team back in 2014.

Former international point guard Juan Pablo Cantero (184-82, currently plays in Portugal) managed to help Sport Lisboa Benfica to win against the ninth-ranked CAB Madeira (9-13) crushing them 101-59 in the Portuguese LPB last Sunday. Cantero scored only 3 points and added 7 passes. Sport Lisboa Benficais placed second in Places 1-6 group. Cantero has averaged so far 6.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 4.8apg. He used to play for the Argentinian national team nine years ago.

   #10. Shooting guard Federico Van Lacke (191-80, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Gipuzkoa (9-23) in their game against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada in the Spanish Liga Endesa. Van Lacke cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones. He scored only one point in 7 minutes on the court. The bottom-ranked Gipuzkoa was edged 70-69 in Madrid by the much higher-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada. It was Gipuzkoa's third consecutive loss in a row. Van Lacke's team will play only one more game in the Regular Season. Van Lacke has averaged so far 3.8ppg, 1.6rpg and 1.5apg in 33 games. He is a former international player as six years ago he still played for the Argentinian senior national team.


The list of other players, who all have Argentinian passport but never been selected to any of Argentinian national teams:

   #1. Experienced Andres Forray (187-PG-86, currently plays in Italy) was the major contributor in a Dolomiti En. TR's victory against the closely-ranked Happy Casa BR (18-12) 81-76 in the Italian Serie A last Sunday. Forray scored 16 points. Dolomiti Energia Trento (17-13) is placed sixth in the Serie A. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Forray is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his eighth year in Dolomiti En. TR's roster. His overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.8apg. Forray has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #2. Ariel Filloy (189-PG-87, agency: Interperformances, currently plays in Italy) led Sidigas AV to a victory against the league leader Armani Milano (23-7) 82-74 in the Italian Serie A on Saturday night. He recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in 24 minutes. Sidigas Avellino (16-14) is placed ninth in the Serie A. This year Filloy's overall stats are: 9.0ppg, 4.1rpg and 4.4apg in 28 games he played so far. He is another player who holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #3. Bruno Cerella (194-G/F-86, agency: Players Group, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an Umana Venezia's victory against the closely-ranked Dolomiti En. TR (17-13) 67-57 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday night. Cerella recorded 7 points. Umana Reyer Venezia (20-10) is placed third in the Serie A. This season Cerella averages only 1.3ppg. Similarly like Filloy and Forray above he has both Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #4. Franco Migliori (200-F/G-82, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a 3-point Chieti's victory against the third-ranked Salerno (24-6) 92-89 in the Italian Serie B (third division) on Sunday night. Migliori recorded 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams in Group C. Teate Basket Chieti (21-7) is placed second. Migliori's stats this season are: 12.1ppg, 4.1rpg and 1.6apg. Similarly like three previous players above, he also holds two passports: Argentinian and Italian.

   #5. Nicolas Stanic (180-PG-84, also represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) led San Severo to a victory over the fifth-ranked Olimpia Matera (21-9) 85-80 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Friday night's game. Stanic was MVP of the game. He scored 28 points (!!!), had 5 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 38 minutes. Allianz Pazienza Cestistica San Severo (28-1) is placed first in Group C. It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. Stanic's stats this year are: 11.8ppg, 3.9rpg, 5.2apg and 1.6spg in 34 games. He has dual citizenship: Argentinian and Italian.

   #6. Enzo Damian Cena (200-F/C-92, currently plays in Italy) could not help Olimpia Matera (21-9) in their last game. Despite Cena's good performance the fifth-placed Olimpia Matera lost 85-90 on the road to the leading San Severo in the Group D. He scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 41 minutes. Cena's stats this year are: 13.4ppg, 7.1rpg, 1.5apg and 1.1spg in 34 games. Similarly like all previous players above, he has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #7. Nicolas Morici (192-G-94, agency: Octagon Europe, currently plays in Italy) contributed to Palestrina's victory against the seventh-ranked Cuore Napoli 77-71 in the Italian Serie B (third division) in Sunday night's game. Morici recorded 15 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and made 2 blocks. Morici has averaged so far 9.6ppg, 7.5rpg, 2.9apg and 1.4spg.

   #8. Santiago Bruno (188-G-93, currently plays in Italy) contributed to an easy victory against the fourth-ranked Faenza 74-58 in the Italian Serie B (third division) last Thursday. He scored 10 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. Bruno has averaged so far 8.9ppg, 4.1rpg and 2.0apg in 35 games. He holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

   #9. Ignacio Ochoa (202-F/C-79, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Morici. But that was another game of his team in Italian Serie B which we would like to mention. Ochoa was not able to help Palestrina (25-5) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance the second-placed Palestrina was edged 67-65 in Napoli by the lower-ranked Cuore (#7) in the Group D. Ochoa was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 3 assists. Ochoa's stats this season are: 13.6ppg, 4.5rpg and 2.0apg. He has Argentinian and Italian nationalities.

   #10. Manuel Carrizo (196-F/G-80, another player represented by Players Group, currently plays in Italy) is a teammate of previously mentioned Nicolas Morici. However that was another game of his team in Italian Serie B which brought him to that list. Carrizo was the main contributor in Palestrina's victory against the seventh-ranked Cuore Napoli 87-82. He was MVP of the game. Carrizo scored 16 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and dished 5 assists. Carrizo has averaged so far 8.9ppg, 5.1rpg and 4.3apg. Similarly like Ochoa and Bruno above he holds both Argentinian and Italian passports.

ROBERTO ACUNA Gimnasia y Esgrima Comodoro Rivadavia (La Liga) tabbed 28-year old international center Roberto Acuna (208-90). He has played for the last two years at Quimsa. San Martin de Curuzu Cuatia (TFB) confirmed in their roster 29-year old guard Franco Aguirre (190-90). He has played there for two seasons. In the last one, he played for AMAD de Goya. He averaged 6.2 points, 1.6 assists and 0.8 rebounds. Aguirre is a very experienced player. He also played for Olimpia de Paranabefore moving to San Martin for the first time.
