Adrian Espinoza Malave (ex Cocodrilos) signs at Independiente

Independiente BBC de Santiago del Estero (La Liga Argentina) landed 22-year old Venezuelan power forward Adrian Espinoza Malave (210-97). He played in the summer at Cocodrilos in Venezuelan LPB league. Espinoza Malave managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year (!!!). He ended the last season at Estudiantes (LigaA). But in 8 games he averaged just 0.4ppg (#4 in the league). It was a very successful season in his career as he was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LDD 2nd Team. But the most of that year Espinoza Malave spent at Estudiantes (LigaA) where in 39 games he had very impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 11.6rpg (#4 in the league), 1.0apg and 1.4bpg. He can count that season as a very successful as was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Argentinian LDD 2nd Team.
Espinoza Malave represented Venezuela at the South American Championships U17 in Salto (Uruguay) six years ago. His stats at that event were 6 games: 5.2ppg, 6.8rpg, Blocks-5 (1.8bpg), FGP: 32.3%, FT: 57.9%.
Espinoza Malave has played also professionally for other Venezuelan teams like Venezuela for Diablos : OnPoint Hoops.
